THE late Dynamos Assistant coach Biggie Zuze had tested negative of the deadly Coronavirus a few hours before his death but health authorities are conducting another Covid-19 test before releasing his body for burial.
Zuze, who complained of breathing problems, passed away at High Glen Clinic yesterday afternoon after a short illness.
He was 55.
Club Spokesperson Tinashe Farawo says the Covid-19 tests were mandatory and necessary.
“It was a sudden death so naturally in this day and age of the coronavirus, tests are necessary. But he tested negative when he was admitted. We are waiting for post mortem results.”
Farawo also spoke on burial arrangements
“Burial is likely to be in Bindura on Sunday. Burial arrangements will be clear after the post mortem,”
Mourners are gathered at Zuze’s residence in Harare’s suburb of Stoneridge pending finalization of burial arrangements.
